IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

Job Summary

Operations and Maintenance (O&M):

-Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, systems, or infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality.
-Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
-Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, coordinating and implementing solution.

Quality Assurance (QA):

-Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
– Identify and report any non-compliance or quality issues, and recommend corrective actions.
-Implement quality control processes to enhance performance and reliability.

Qualification:

Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer science or relevant field.
Good troubleshooting skills, such that faults are promptly identified and rectified to meet the required SLAs.
