The Plan International has published a job vacancy announcement on 12^th April 2023 for qualified Ethiopians to fill in the vacant post of Thematic Sector Lead to be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Plan International Job Vacancy 2023

Role Purpose: The position holder will be responsible to support the implementation and realization of the PIE’s strategy through strategically managing and leading the child protection thematic country program. This would be demonstrated in undertaking responsibilities which includes: providing strategic program leadership to child protection team in the development and execution of country’s strategic plans to deliver high quality programmes and to ensure integration and synergies between the Child protection program and other thematic country programs, proactive external engagement, including resources mobilization, networking and collaboration for policy engagement, and learning and knowledge management within the broader organization.

Qualification:

• Masters level or equivalent in the area Sociology, Social work, Psychology or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years relevant experience and of which at least 3 years in managerial position with NGOs in leading programs and projects.
• Demonstrated experience in the management of child protection programmatic areas.
