The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a humanitarian, non-governmental organisation that protects the rights of people affected by displacement. This includes refugees and internally displaced persons who are forced to flee their homes as a result of conflict, human rights violations and acute violence, as well as climate change and natural disasters.
The NRC has published a job vacancy announcement on 21 February 2024 for qualified Nigeria’s to fill in the vacant post of Complaints and Feedback Mechanism Technical Assistant to be based in Monguno, Nigeria.
NRC Job Vacancy 2024
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing NRC’s systems and procedures at country level.
- Prepare and submit reports and analysis.
- Assist proper documentation using existing systems.
- Support dissemination of relevant information to project participants, host communities, and relevant partners
- Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience working as ICT Assistant/ICT Officer/Consultant in a humanitarian/recovery context preferably with a similar organization like NRC.
- Documented experience in related to network management and cloud networking
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Completion of NYSC
