Position Summary: The Field Research Associate will conduct thorough and accurate data collection for the midterm performance evaluation of the Resilience through Agriculture in South Sudan (RASS) activity. The Field Research Associate will engage directly with beneficiaries and stakeholders through various data collection methods, including interviews, discussions, and observations, adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements. This position aims to gather critical data that will contribute to understanding the RASS activity’s effectiveness, efficiency, and impact, thereby supporting the overall goal of enhancing resilience through agriculture in South Sudan. This will be a short-term position based in Akobo, Budi, Jur River, Kapoeta North or Wau, South Sudan.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum of a high school diploma is required.
Minimum three years of experience in data collection or research activities required.
Knowledge of the local context preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
Ability to travel and work in remote areas is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
Strong English language skills in writing, presentation, and conversation is required. Proficiency in one or more local languages is preferred.
