IGCP Zimbabwe looking for “Finance and Budget Associate”.

IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional Afromontane Forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.
The IGCP has published a job vacancy announcement on May 14, 2024 for qualified Zimbabwe’s to fill in the vacant post of Finance and Budget Associate to be based in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential long-term partners that align with the project’s goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential partners and track engagement efforts.
- Draft and send outreach emails and follow-up communications to potential partners to introduce the project and its beneficiaries.
- Coordinate with project beneficiaries to understand their career interests and goals.
- Work with the programs officer and company partners to match them with beneficiaries for internship opportunities.
- Ensure that all communications with partners are accurate, timely, and confidential.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Programs Officer.
