IGCP Uganda looking for “Sales Operations Lead”.

IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional afromontane forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.

The IGCP has published a job vacancy announcement on December 14, 2023 for qualified Uganda’s to fill in the vacant post of Sales Operations Lead to be based in Kampala, Uganda.

IGCP Job Vacancy 2023

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales
  • Form partnerships to expand market reach
  • Analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Seek out the appropriate contacts in various organizations.
  • Help to plan sales campaigns
  • Create a sales pipeline
  • Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
  • Increase sales of the business
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.
  • Develop the business sales and marketing strategy.
