The SNV has published a job vacancy announcement on 1st June 2023 for qualified Ethiopians to fill in the vacant post of WASH Advisor to be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

SNV Job Vacancy 2023

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of the findings and recommendations of the Formative research, the SBCC strategy and F and E programming strategy to improve the behaviours and practices of the community towards trachoma elimination,
• Coordinate and lead the planning, implementation, and reporting of the WASHTRA Project – increasing demand for improved WASH product and services.
• Build the technical Capacity of woreda sectoral office staff, HEWs using proven approaches, and according to the national /regional strategy, WASH NTD Mater Plans, promote demand creation for improved sanitation and hygienic behaviour.

• Location: Oromia/Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Qualification & Experience:

• BSc degree minimum in Behavioural Science, Social Behavioural Change Communication (SBCC), Sociology, and other related social sciences fields
• At least five (5) years of experience in Social Behaviour Change Communication.
