Institutional Arrangement: As part of the StaRR Unit, the Programme Management Analyst will be reporting to the Chief Programme Advisor with matrix reporting to and benefiting from oversight of the STARR Unit Team Leader. S/he will work, collaborate, and coordinate on a day-to-day basis with the Programme Coordinator (SEED4Youth, YEDCB) and relevant lead staff of relevant projects (READ, CC4GBV, etc.), in close collaboration with the Project Team, STARR unit, country office program colleagues and partners.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Advanced University Degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Management, Humanitarian Assistance/ Emergency Response, Social Sciences, or other relevant disciplines or
- A first level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the above-mentioned fields in combination with an additional 2 years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant field experience in durable solutions, vocational, livelihood and entrepreneurial skills development; VLSA and cooperative development; private sector partnership; and community engagement is required.
Required skills.
- Experience in the use of computers and relevant office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to use web-based management and electronic log, file and/or scheduling system.
Desired skills:
- Experience in durable solutions, recovery, and resilience programming in fragile contexts.
- Extensive knowledge/experience of skills development MSE and cooperative development and challenges.
- Excellent coordination skills/experience in multi-sectoral programming.
- Broad understanding of human mobility, durable solutions.
Required Language:
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English is required.
- Excellent oral communication skills in Arabic is mandatory.
