Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Government Liaison Officer and the overall guidance of the Marshal Plan Secretariat, the incumbent will perform the following substantive duties:
- Support communication activities highlighting the work on the development of the Marshal Plan;
- Work proactively with the Secretariat to share correspondences and feedback to and from the stakeholders engaged in the development of the Marshal Plan;
- Work closely with UNHCR Admin and Supply Units to provide logistical arrangements in support of the Secretariat and other structures engaged in the development of the Marshal Plan;
- Attend official meetings, workshops and other events and contribute to the preparation and dissemination of outcome documents.
- Assist in creating and developing briefing notes, presentations, infographics and tables on the Marshal Plan;
- Assist with content updates for the Marshal Plan to increase visibility of the process and interactions in the social media platforms;
Qualification & Experience:
- University Degree in Information Management, Law/International Law, Political Science, Social Science, Development, Economics, International Relations, Journalism, Public Administration, Finance or any other related field.
- Knowledge in writing, and editing web and social media content, as well as the ability to generate documents that include; graphs, infographics, and tables.
- Writing and editing skills in English, with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and simple manner.
- Knowledge in event organizing, planning and logistical support to a multi-functional team.
- Sound knowledge of computer software including; word processing, PowerPoint, graphic design and excel.
