The UNICEF has published a job vacancy announcement on 30th Juba 2024 for qualified South Sudanese to fill in the vacant post of Communications Assistant to be based in Juba, South Sudan.

Purpose of the internship: The internship supports the communications functions in the SSCO including supporting content development and distribution on digital channels, events and advocacy campaigns and visibility and branding requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD degree programme or have graduated within the past two years in business or public administration, international law, international relations, social sciences, communication, or related fields.
- Strong skills in social media and web-based platforms
- Excellent reading and writing skills: Ability to synthesize articles, reports and programme information into communications material.
- Good technical skills in basic MS Office applications.
- Good Communication skills: Ability to work independently and work with various members of the organizations in technical programmes and field staff.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
- Have no immediate relatives (e.g. father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and have no other relatives in the line of authority that the intern will report to.
