War Child Job Vacancy 2024
Conduct quality visits to partner staff to ensure adherence to quality standards;
- All facilitators are trained on methodology.
- Tool kits are being used by facilitators.
- There is adherence to fidelity checklists and daily attendance tracking.
- Development of mentorship and coaching plans.
- Coordinates and monitors the mentorship of facilitators and trainers in locations.
- Conducting feedback meetings with facilitators/teachers.
- Monthly/Quarterly feedback sessions are being conducted with children.
- Children with additional MHPSS and other needs are being referred to the appropriate service providers.

Qualification:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Works & Administration/ Mental Health or any other relevant degree
- Experience in coaching and mentorship of staff.
- Must be child-friendly, act in the best interest of the child and be physically active
- Good social and communication skills including the ability to participate actively in movement-based activities according to TeamUp methodology and implementation standards.
- Demonstratable experience in working with large and small groups of children.
- Planning, implementation and time management skills.
- Experience in planning, conducting and implementing structured recreational activities for children (dance, sport, and games).
- Should be flexible, able to maintain a clear overview and capable of facilitating activities in a child-friendly manner.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to understand, speak and write English.
- Understanding of Child Safety and have a clean criminal record
Additional
- A university qualification in sport or social work is a plus.
- First Aid certificate is a plus
- Experience in identification and referral for MHPSS is an added value
- Knowledge of Teamup is an added value.
