The CTG has published a job vacancy announcement on 24th April 2024 for qualified South Africa’s to fill in the vacant post of Communications Intern to be based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Overview of Position
- CTG (Committed to Good) delivers staffing solutions to humanitarian & development projects through our specialised recruitment, HR management & operational services. In operation since 2006, today we are honored to serve humanitarian & development clients in 25 fragile & conflict affected states with our staff assisting with disaster relief, peace building, humanitarian aid & development programs & more.

- This Communications Intern will provide proactive support to the communications & marketing team who are based in Newlands, Cape Town & are responsible for all the marketing & communications efforts for CTG. The Communication intern will gain hand -on exposure to related activities such as content creation, research & project management among others. This will be gained through the delivery of various meaningful projects that deliver tangible impact in CTG’s countries of operation. This is a unique internship in that the Communications Intern will also have the opportunity to develop their understanding of how the private sector can support humanitarian & development impact. They will also have the opportunity to support the Social Impact Manager & work with her on some of her projects that are focused on increasing CTG’s impact on SDG 5 within our areas of operation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Bachelor’s in or masters in arts, international relations, international development, communications or journalism or a related field (essential).
- Sector experience: Minimum of 1 year/s of demonstrable relevant Communication experience (desirable).
- Geographical experience: Minimum of 1 year/s of experience in Africa (desirable).
- Languages: Fluent in English (essential).
