The DRC has published a job vacancy announcement on 21st May, 2024 for qualified Kenya’s to fill in the vacant post of Information Technology Intern to be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
DRC Job Vacancy 2024
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer hardware, authorized software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Liaise with the Country MIS Coordinator regarding issues/faults in a timely manner.
- Offer technical support to all end users of hardware & software issues.
- Ensure that company data is safely backed up to OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Daily monitoring of servers to for optimal performance,100% uptime and availability of systems.
- Maintain, improve, and ensure healthy back-ups of beneficiaries’ database.
- Generate monthly systems usage reports.
- Oversee software and network security.
- Undertake simple development tasks on the Information Management Systems as assigned from time to time.
- Continually perform preventative maintenance.

Minimum Requirement:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other related field from a recognized institution
- Certification in computer networks (CCNA, N+, etc)
Experience:
- At least 1 Year Experience in fast paced organization.
Languages:
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
