IGCP South Africa looking for “Marketing Associate”.

IGCP was formed in 1991 to address the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) and its regional Afromontane Forest habitat in the Virunga Bwindi Landscape. Our aim has been to work together as a single gorilla conservation program in order to expand and consolidate the successes of the Mountain Gorilla Project and other initiatives at a regional level.
The IGCP has published a job vacancy announcement on 01st May 2024 for qualified South Africa’s to fill in the vacant post of Marketing Associate to be based in Pretoria, South Africa.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Represent the Disability Unit at University events.
- Assist with planning and execution of casual day activities.
- Author monthly newsletters and create content for the Disability Unit website.
- Any other duties, as assigned by the line manager, in line with the role.
Eligibility Criteria
- Degree in Marketing
- Advanced communications skills
- Good writing skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Analytical
- Adaptable
- Aware of cultural and social landscape
