The UNODC has published a job vacancy announcement on 15 February 2024 for qualified Kenya’s to fill in the vacant post of Intern to be based in Nairobi, Kenya.

UNODC Job Vacancy 2024

Responsibilities:

The internship is located in the Indian Ocean West Team of the Global Maritime Crime Programme based in Nairobi, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), The intern will work under the direct supervision of Professional staff of the Global Maritime Crime Programme.  The internship is for three (3) months (with the possibility of an extension up to a maximum of 6 months subject to the needs of the office and availability of the intern) with a desired starting date in March 2024.  The position is UNPAID and full-time, i.e. five days (34 hours) per week under the supervision of a staff member in the receiving department or office.

Qualification & Experience:

  • be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
  • be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent)
  • have graduated with a university degree.
