Job Purpose
This internship will be based in Mombasa sub office working closely with the warehouse operations team.
The intern will be trained on reporting e.g., dashboard and well as engagement in innovative ways and technology savvy of working within the UN mandate.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
Under direct supervision of the Logistics Officer or delegated authority, the intern will be trained on:
- DOTS: Working with the Mombasa units (Warehouse, shipping) on innovative reporting on DOTS
- Creating a live dashboard e.g., one that pulls data from LESS and other platforms.
- Space utilization engagements e.g., bagged vs cantonised space calculations
- Suggesting and engaging in innovative ways of working e.g P.I automation
- Any other tasks as may be allocated

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree In the field of Information management, data analytics, statistics, or equivalent.
- Graduated no longer than 1 year ago from a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent studies.
- Fluency in both oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
- Proficiency in excel, SQL, Webi reports, SAP.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, data visualisation tools e.g., tableau
- Ability to report and communicate efficiently.
